Submission Guidelines

The International Journal of Medical Research and Innovation in Applied Science (IJMRIAS) invites original, high-quality manuscripts from researchers, clinicians, academicians, and professionals in medical and applied scientific disciplines. Authors are requested to carefully follow the guidelines below to ensure a smooth review and publication process.

  1. Types of Manuscripts Accepted

IJMRIAS accepts the following categories:

  • Original Research Articles
  • Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses
  • Clinical Case Reports
  • Short Communications
  • Technical Notes
  • Conceptual and Perspective Papers
  • Review Articles

All submissions must present original and unpublished work.

  1. Manuscript Preparation

Language

Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise, and grammatically correct English.

File Format

  • MS Word (.doc or .docx) only

Formatting Requirements

  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Font Size: 12 pt (body text), 14 pt bold (headings)
  • Line Spacing: 1.5
  • Margins: 1 inch on all sides
  • Page Numbers: Bottom center or bottom right
  1. Structure of the Manuscript

Manuscripts should be organized in the following sequence:

  1. Title of the Article
  2. Author(s) Name(s), Affiliation(s), and Corresponding Author Details
  3. Abstract (150–250 words)
  4. Keywords (3–6 keywords)
  5. Introduction
  6. Literature Review (if applicable)
  7. Materials and Methods / Methodology
  8. Results
  9. Discussion
  10. Conclusion
  11. Acknowledgments (if any)
  12. Conflict of Interest Statement
  13. Ethical Approval Statement (if applicable)
  14. References

For clinical research involving human or animal subjects, ethical approval details must be clearly mentioned.

  1. Referencing Style

Authors must follow a consistent referencing format. Acceptable styles include:

  • APA (7th Edition)
  • Vancouver Style (recommended for medical research)
  • IEEE Style

All in-text citations must appear in the reference list and vice versa.

  1. Ethical Requirements

Authors are responsible for:

  • Ensuring originality of the manuscript
  • Avoiding plagiarism (similarity index should not exceed 15%)
  • Obtaining ethical clearance for clinical or experimental studies
  • Securing informed consent from participants (where applicable)
  • Disclosing conflicts of interest
  • Declaring funding sources

Failure to comply with ethical standards may result in rejection.

  1. Peer Review Process

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process. Authors must remove identifying information from the main manuscript file to ensure anonymity during review.

  1. Plagiarism Screening

All manuscripts are checked using plagiarism detection software before review. Manuscripts exceeding acceptable similarity limits may be returned or rejected.

  1. Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted electronically through:

  • The official journal submission portal

  • The designated editorial email address (as mentioned on the journal website)

Each submission must include:

  • Manuscript file
  • Cover letter
  • Author declaration form

Incomplete submissions may not be processed.

  • Authors must respond point-by-point to reviewer comments
  • Revised manuscripts must be submitted within the stipulated timeframe
  • Final acceptance is subject to editorial approval

Authors retain copyright of their work. Published articles are released under the journal’s open-access licence as stated in the Licence Terms.

Any applicable Article Processing Charges (APCs) will be clearly communicated after manuscript acceptance. No hidden charges are applied.
